Standard voices

Standard voices are voices available on BeyondWords but provided by third parties such as Microsoft, Amazon and Google.

There are hundreds of Standard voices available on the platform across dozens of language and locales.

Demo a Standard voice by going the project Settings. In the General section, under Default voices, click on the play button next to each name.

To use a Standard voice, simply select the voice from the dropdown, scroll to the bottom of the page and press Save.

Those voices without a BeyondWords logo are Standard voices. Whilst these voices are accurate, Standard voices offered by partners can sometimes sound generic or unnatural.
